Helloooooo! I'm Rubi, i’m 31-year i’m a wife, mama, and photographer based in Minnesota. After trading the sunny skies of Arizona for the four seasons (and LOTS of snow!) four years ago, we’re finally embracing all the chilly vibes.
I’m married to my partner in crime, Erik, and we have two little humans who keep us on our toes Ezra (11) and Penelope (9) plus our two fur babies, Sushi & Bruno (our cat).
I’m proudly Latina and can’t resist a good dance! Whether it’s bachata, merengue, or salsa, dancing is in my soul. Fun fact: Erik and I met on the dance floor, laughing and dancing all night long. We’ve been “those people” ever since, the ones who can’t help but dance and laugh, even if it’s totally out of place. We’re approaching 13 years of marriage, and I can confidently say when you know, you know. We definitely knew.
On the rare days you’ll see me in something other than sweats and my husband’s shirt! But hey, if I’m rocking jeans, you know we’re heading somewhere fun.
Photography has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I used to sneak my older sister’s camera when I was little, snapping pictures of myself, my family, and anyone who would let me. I loved capturing moments, and it felt like magic every time I clicked the shutter. Fast forward to today, and that childhood love of photography has grown into a full-blown passion. Since 2011, I’ve been creating timeless images that tell stories, and there's nothing I love more than freezing those little moments that make life so special.
I’m all about capturing the raw, real moments the ones that make you feel all the feels. I’ll help you feel at ease, laugh a lot, and walk away with memories you’ll cherish forever. My style is relaxed, fun, and focused on bringing out the authentic side of every person I photograph.

What’s my photography style?
Genuine. Candid. Capturing all the feels. I do what I do because I love it, I love everything from the moment I meet you until the moment I deliver your gallery. I’ve had clients who arrive to their session feeling nervous being in front of a camera, but once I reassure them that I’m going to capture beautiful images with their natural reactions they loosen up and by the end of our session we’re laughing and having a blast. I’m there as your photographer but also as your friend and feeling comfortable and your most beautiful is my goal.
